What a busy week its been! The last Foundation Friday feels like just yesterday but here we are again.

This weeks foundation Friday is all about the big beauty hit, BB creams! With every cosmetic company and their friends jumping on the bandwagon, the industry has been saturated with these creams. If you don’t know what a BB cream is then firstly where have you been? Secondly, let me tell you all about them. Beauty Balms are basically supped up versions of tinted moisturisers. Usually offering SPF and a heavier coverage, they have blended in well with the zero effort beauty trend of 2014. These days its all about a quick base without the fuss of a full coverage foundation!

So I want to tell you all about Simple’s contribution to the BB cream craze. The Kind To Skin+ Perfecting BB is a lightweight cream that promises to moisturise, even skin tone and blur imperfections. Packed with multivitamins and offering an SPF of 15, this cream seems to do it all.

On application I find this cream a joy to use. It blends quickly and effortlessly and gives a medium coverage. This BB cream doesn’t feel greasy on the skin and requires no powdering, which is ideal for those effortless days. The biggest downfall? The shade.

There is only one shade in this cream, which is supposed to be universal, but believe me its not suitable for the ultra pale like me! This base is very warm and would probably only suit a more tanned complexion. Such a shame as I would probably use this daily if I could!

So what’s your favourite BB cream?
