Some occasions call for a bright lip and there’s no better time than the summer to do just that. Bright, bold lips are the perfect match for this beautiful weather, however it’s not always easy to pull off. I’ve been experimenting and have found my fool proof way of rocking a bold lip in the daytime…
When I first subscribed to Glossybox, I had never heard of anything quite like it. To cut it short, it’s a subscription service that sends you 5 luxury sized beauty samples a month for just £10. All packed inside these cute little boxes and tied in a ribbon. I thought it would be a nice little treat for myself each month and be great for product reviews. At first I used to get so excited when my box would arrive, I’d rip it open to find out what I had been sent and start using the products as soon as possible. Now fast forward 12 months later and I can go days without even bothering to look inside my newest boxes.
Beauty boxes are now in big demand, the market is saturated with beauty boxes and my love for Glossybox has faded. (more…)
Soap and Glory have been the most surprising, cosmetics success of this past year. Their toiletries range has always been a favourite of mine but I was a little dubious when I saw that they had released a cosmetics range. Oh how silly I was!
Kick Ass Concealer is just one of my favourites of the Soap and Glory make up. This little pot of wonders has it all. Just follow steps 1, 2 &3!
Step 1// With a creamy consistency and peachy tone, its a perfect under eye concealer.
Step 2// A heavier, yet never cakey, concealer to hide any blemishes or redness.
Step 3// A powder to set all that concealer, ensuring you’re flawless all day!
This thing really is kick ass. I have not stopped wearing this since I got it. It makes my skin look so naturally flawless, and the lightest shade is a perfect match for me.
Not to forget its a perfect dupe for the Laura Mercier Undercover Pots (costing a whopping £29!).
Priced at only £10, its available here.
It’s time to prepare our hands for the summer, yes girls I said summer. The time of year when that thing called the sun blesses us with heat. I know, I’ve forgotten how that feels too!
Recently my hands have been a total state and I’m sick of it. Regular hand washing at work and the harsh winter weather has not been kind to me.
So it’s time for us to get out our favourite hand creams, banish dry skin and forget about this weather.
