Something For My Brows

I was on that big brow bandwagon long before it was popular. When everyone else had pencil thin brows, I was that 12 year old with big bushy brows! I’ve made all your classic brow shaping disasters. Attempting to shave my brows into shape when I was 12, and subsequently having to pencil them back in as I went a little over the top with the razor was certainly a low point! Finally my mum expertly plucked them for me and I seriously haven’t looked back since. (more…)

April Favourites

There have been many new products gracing my dressing table this month, but only four have really stood out enough to make it into my April Favourites!

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Buttercream// I discovered this when my mum told me how much she loved the scrub from the same range. The minute I opened a tub and took a sniff I knew I was hooked. I picked up the Buttercream and have been using it daily since. Smelling so sweet and fresh of lime, almond, coco and kiwi this whipped body butter is the perfect summer time moisturiser. (more…)

Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed Mask

Face masks; you’ve probably gathered that they are not my favourite beauty product. Although I enjoy using them, I rarely find one that makes any real difference. On my quest to find the perfect face mask, I picked this up from Soap & Glory, the No Clogs Allowed Super Self Heating Mask. Designed to apparently deeply detox the pores, this is designed for oily, congested skin.

Taking a grape sized amount, you spread this mask onto your face twice a week, then you must wet your hands and the mask turns blue. Now all you do is wait 5 minutes (are you noticing a pattern here? All my masks only take 5 minutes!)

Soap and Glory Make Yourself Youthful Sunsheild

Remember when you were a kid and your mum would pin you down and slap sunscreen on you, whilst you struggled to get away and play with your friends? Well it seems not a lot changes when you grow up. We’re all in a hurry to get on with our days and like products that combine an SPF in with them.

Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer

Soap and Glory have been the most surprising, cosmetics success of this past year. Their toiletries range has always been a favourite of mine but I was a little dubious when I saw that they had released a cosmetics range. Oh how silly I was!

Kick Ass Concealer is just one of my favourites of the Soap and Glory make up. This little pot of wonders has it all. Just follow steps 1, 2 &3!

Step 1//  With a creamy consistency and peachy tone, its a perfect under eye concealer.

Step 2//  A heavier, yet never cakey, concealer to hide any blemishes or redness.

Step 3//  A powder to set all that concealer, ensuring you’re flawless all day!

This thing really is kick ass. I have not stopped wearing this since I got it. It makes my skin look so naturally flawless, and the lightest shade is a perfect match for me.

Not to forget its a perfect dupe for the Laura Mercier Undercover Pots (costing a whopping £29!).

Priced at only £10, its available here.

Soap and Glory Hand Food

It’s not often that a product becomes a holy grail for me but this hand cream has really knocked my socks off!
I’ve been struggling with eczema on my hands for months and no amount of creams have helped. I’ve tried everything from normal hands creams, to steroid creams, yet nothing has helped. That is until this beauty came along.

Priced at £2.50, for a travel size tube, I thought it was worth a go and would be perfect for my handbag. Little did I know that I would almost use an entire tube in little over a week, not just because of the gorgeous scent but also because of how much good it’s done my hands.
